There are many options available today in the world of Generator Paralleling and we have seen some of them at IEEE. Our presentation will be a review of the choices available to the engineering community from a “features and benefits” driven process. We will also look at low first cost versus installed cost. Finally we will look at the pros and cons of factory testing for integrated paralleling switchgear.
For more than 20 years, Minto Halimuddin, Western Region Systems Sales Manager with Caterpillar Electric Power America has been designing, selling and applying complete Power Generation Systems Solution including Paralleling Switchgear, Automatic Transfer Switches, UPS with Diesel and Gas Engine Generators for Healthcare, WTPs, Data Centers, Institutional and Landfill / Digester Gas projects in Asia Pacific and North America. As an Electrical Engineer, Minto focuses on helping customers select the most reliable emergency power system design, as well as reduce costs and minimize operating risks.
